Prompt Response: Getting back into the school schedule has been difficult, whether it be relevant to time management or getting back into the mood of doing 7 hours a day of school and homework and what not. I am not necessarily worried about time management too much, in regards to homework, as I will have plenty of time to do it. The issue is moreover getting myself to sit down and do it. Trying to motivate and get myself to do work in a timely manner isn't easy and I will need to adjust to it in this coming school year.

Summary: In class today we took a quiz about a new origin myth about the origin of the Robin.

Reflection: The quiz we took gave me new insights and things to think about in regards to origin myths that I hadn't really considered before.

Prompt Response:  Over winter break I did two things, hang out with family and do things with friends. For Christmas I was with my dad's parents in north Georgia and for New Years I was with my uncle's family in Mississippi. The first goal I am striving to achieve is getting my driver's license.  This goal is important to me as getting it will give me much more freedom and ability to more easily do things like get a job and get to places. To achieve it, I will need to meet certain parameters. Thankfully, I have already finished the sitting-down Driver's Ed portion, which makes it easier. I need to get more practice in though as a whole, which I will achieve by doing driving with my parents on the weekends. Ideally by October or November 2026, I will take the road test and get my license.   Prompt Response:  Something that I can't stop thinking about as of late is basketball. I have always mildly enjoyed the sport and things about it but these past couple weeks it is something that I have been extremely interested in and invested in regarding the players and history and stats. It is something that I think about a lot and want to learn more about constantly and be engaged with the games going on.
