Write about a time you felt connected to nature

Prompt Response: One time I felt connected to nature was when I went camping during a summer camp for a few days. I felt connected to nature as we were deep in the forrests and relied on more rudimentary systems for food and the likes rather than the modern conveniences we are used to. It was very fun and allowed me to better take in the world around me for its beauty and uniqueness.

Summary: We learnt about early native American writing traditions and customs, such as their methods and themes that were used at the time and some of the contexts behind them and their existence in our day.

Reflection: I personally learnt more about the common themes and methods used to maintain their existence, i.e the oral retention and spread through generations.

Prompt Response:  Over winter break I did two things, hang out with family and do things with friends. For Christmas I was with my dad's parents in north Georgia and for New Years I was with my uncle's family in Mississippi. The first goal I am striving to achieve is getting my driver's license.  This goal is important to me as getting it will give me much more freedom and ability to more easily do things like get a job and get to places. To achieve it, I will need to meet certain parameters. Thankfully, I have already finished the sitting-down Driver's Ed portion, which makes it easier. I need to get more practice in though as a whole, which I will achieve by doing driving with my parents on the weekends. Ideally by October or November 2026, I will take the road test and get my license.   Prompt Response:  Something that I can't stop thinking about as of late is basketball. I have always mildly enjoyed the sport and things about it but these past couple weeks it is something that I have been extremely interested in and invested in regarding the players and history and stats. It is something that I think about a lot and want to learn more about constantly and be engaged with the games going on.
