Of today’s 15 vocabulary words, which three do you think you will use the most in your speaking and writing this semester

Prompt Response:  Out of the vocab words assigned to us, I think the three I will use the most are affinity, aesthetic, and amoral. Those are words that can be used for a lot of things in order to make things sound more interesting and to vary up common word usage. They also have complex meanings and fit in a more specific niche than the other variations may apply in sentences.

Summary: In class we went over clusters and how to format essay planning

Reflection: I thought about how to categorize things in a deeper way than before

What challenges have you faced when working independently or in a group, and how did you handle them? Explain how those experiences will influence the way you approach this current research project.

  Prompt Response:  In the past, working on projects independently can lead to lack of motivation for me and make it harder to work on. But at the same time working on a project as a group can be problematic as not everyone is on the same track and may not be as willing to work together. I hope that during this project we will all be able to work on it on the same track and be efficient about it. Summary: We formed our group and talked about our projects Reflection: Being able to see the future of this project and how we are going to work on it gives me more ability to figure out how to approach it

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Prompt Response:  Very recently I had an encounter with this homeless guy at goodwill and I bought him some clothes. Seeing homeless people is something that is greatly upsetting to me because it makes me so upset seeing people in that condition and situation and I just hope for them to end up doing better at some point. Summary:  Started this story and the writeable Reflection:  The story was very interesting at that point.
