Which learning method do you enjoy the most

Prompt Response: I prefer worksheet and class discussions work. Worksheets that supplement information are nice  because it helps me really get the information into my brain. I also like class discussions because they allow for different perspectives and in a way force me to verbalize and therefore get my thoughts straight on what we are learning about.

Summary: We worked on the poem poster.

Reflection: Talking to my friends about their poems while working on my poster allowed me to reflect on my poem and improve it in many ways.

What challenges have you faced when working independently or in a group, and how did you handle them? Explain how those experiences will influence the way you approach this current research project.

  Prompt Response:  In the past, working on projects independently can lead to lack of motivation for me and make it harder to work on. But at the same time working on a project as a group can be problematic as not everyone is on the same track and may not be as willing to work together. I hope that during this project we will all be able to work on it on the same track and be efficient about it. Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Prompt Response:  Very recently I had an encounter with this homeless guy at goodwill and I bought him some clothes. Seeing homeless people is something that is greatly upsetting to me because it makes me so upset seeing people in that condition and situation and I just hope for them to end up doing better at some point. Summary:  Started this story and the writeable Reflection:  The story was very interesting at that point.
