Write about what you did over the Fall Break.

Prompt Response: Over fall break I did a lot, I went to a mountain house with some of my friends, my birthday happened, and I generally spent a lot of time out the house. The mountain house was probably my favorite thing that I did, being able to have so much time with my buds and the ability to do so much was a lot of fun. My birthday was also enjoyable, I had a simple hangout with friends and got some presents and what not.

Summary: We worked on a comic based off the vocab words

Reflection: Working on the comic helped me understand the words better.

What challenges have you faced when working independently or in a group, and how did you handle them? Explain how those experiences will influence the way you approach this current research project.

  Prompt Response:  In the past, working on projects independently can lead to lack of motivation for me and make it harder to work on. But at the same time working on a project as a group can be problematic as not everyone is on the same track and may not be as willing to work together. I hope that during this project we will all be able to work on it on the same track and be efficient about it. Summary: We formed our group and talked about our projects Reflection: Being able to see the future of this project and how we are going to work on it gives me more ability to figure out how to approach it

Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Prompt Response:  Very recently I had an encounter with this homeless guy at goodwill and I bought him some clothes. Seeing homeless people is something that is greatly upsetting to me because it makes me so upset seeing people in that condition and situation and I just hope for them to end up doing better at some point. Summary:  Started this story and the writeable Reflection:  The story was very interesting at that point.
