How have the holidays changed as you have grown older?

Prompt Response: For my experience, my holidays have remained fairly consistent throughout the years. It is something that I am still quite excited for most the time and while maybe I am not as excited as I used to be, I still retain much of it. My family still visits our extended family during it as we always have and it is usually the same people. I will say that for me holidays have changed a bit due to being more unsure of what I want in regards to gifts from family, but that is a pretty small change.

Summary: We went over lesson six of vocab

Reflection: This lesson was one where I really didn't know most words in it, which is special since I usually recognize a good amount of words in each the lessons we do. But the new words are useful and I will retain them for future application.

Prompt Response:  Over winter break I did two things, hang out with family and do things with friends. For Christmas I was with my dad's parents in north Georgia and for New Years I was with my uncle's family in Mississippi. The first goal I am striving to achieve is getting my driver's license.  This goal is important to me as getting it will give me much more freedom and ability to more easily do things like get a job and get to places. To achieve it, I will need to meet certain parameters. Thankfully, I have already finished the sitting-down Driver's Ed portion, which makes it easier. I need to get more practice in though as a whole, which I will achieve by doing driving with my parents on the weekends. Ideally by October or November 2026, I will take the road test and get my license.   Prompt Response:  Something that I can't stop thinking about as of late is basketball. I have always mildly enjoyed the sport and things about it but these past couple weeks it is something that I have been extremely interested in and invested in regarding the players and history and stats. It is something that I think about a lot and want to learn more about constantly and be engaged with the games going on.
