 Prompt Response: If I had to write a poem about my life right now, it would be about my thoughts for my future. As we creep further and further through our high school careers, the concept of college and beyond is more and more relevant. It is not scary necessarily but high stress to think about and try to work out what you want to do. All in all it is something that is very heavy on the mind as of these last few months. 

Summary: Took some notes on rhetoric and did the CommonLits that we missed

Reflection: The CommonLits that we did were very interesting and gave new outlooks on human interaction

Prompt Response:  Over winter break I did two things, hang out with family and do things with friends. For Christmas I was with my dad's parents in north Georgia and for New Years I was with my uncle's family in Mississippi. The first goal I am striving to achieve is getting my driver's license.  This goal is important to me as getting it will give me much more freedom and ability to more easily do things like get a job and get to places. To achieve it, I will need to meet certain parameters. Thankfully, I have already finished the sitting-down Driver's Ed portion, which makes it easier. I need to get more practice in though as a whole, which I will achieve by doing driving with my parents on the weekends. Ideally by October or November 2026, I will take the road test and get my license.   Prompt Response:  Something that I can't stop thinking about as of late is basketball. I have always mildly enjoyed the sport and things about it but these past couple weeks it is something that I have been extremely interested in and invested in regarding the players and history and stats.
