Prompt Response: I would say that after writing this essay I feel significantly more confident about analyzing and broadly understanding texts that I read. In the future I think I will feel much more prepared than before due to being able to better articulate what I am thinking and better identifying tools used in writing. Specifically, formatting the thesis before writing the essay allows you to get a mental idea of what you will write about and how you will write about it which is very useful.

Reflection: I enjoyed writing the essay and being able to write about something like that in such a way was a large learning experience.

Prompt Response:  Over winter break I did two things, hang out with family and do things with friends. For Christmas I was with my dad's parents in north Georgia and for New Years I was with my uncle's family in Mississippi. The first goal I am striving to achieve is getting my driver's license.  This goal is important to me as getting it will give me much more freedom and ability to more easily do things like get a job and get to places. To achieve it, I will need to meet certain parameters. Thankfully, I have already finished the sitting-down Driver's Ed portion, which makes it easier. I need to get more practice in though as a whole, which I will achieve by doing driving with my parents on the weekends. Ideally by October or November 2026, I will take the road test and get my license.   Prompt Response:  Something that I can't stop thinking about as of late is basketball. I have always mildly enjoyed the sport and things about it but these past couple weeks it is something that I have been extremely interested in and invested in regarding the players and history and stats.
