What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.

 Prompt Response: One time not too long ago I was pretty stressed about college things and my next year of school and I was difficult to deal with. It was a lot of me not knowing what I wanted to do next year and also broad concerns about my future in college. I didn't really know who to talk to about this immediately as I am of course not talking to too many people that are out of college, but I could always ask my dad. Doing this he gave me a lot of information about his experience in college and senior year which gave me better insight into what I should do in  order to have a successful future.

Summary: We went over a poem and analyzed the diction within it.

Reflection: The poem was enjoyable and the analysis of the word usage was insightful.

  Prompt Response:  In the past, working on projects independently can lead to lack of motivation for me and make it harder to work on. But at the same time working on a project as a group can be problematic as not everyone is on the same track and may not be as willing to work together. I hope that during this project we will all be able to work on it on the same track and be efficient about it. Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Prompt Response:  Very recently I had an encounter with this homeless guy at goodwill and I bought him some clothes. Seeing homeless people is something that is greatly upsetting to me because it makes me so upset seeing people in that condition and situation and I just hope for them to end up doing better at some point. Summary:  Started this story and the writeable Reflection:  The story was very interesting at that point.
