Your research question is designed to explore a complex issue. What makes this topic difficult to answer or solve? Identify at least two different perspectives or factors related to your topic and explain why understanding multiple viewpoints is important.

Prompt Response: My topic was Free Speech v. Cancel Culture. It is difficult to solve because while the two sides are pretty distinct there is deep arguments either way. You can either argue that someone's past actions/words can justify them being ostracized today, but on the other hand it can be said that these past things become invalidated and exist solely in their context and not in the society today. It's important to previously understand these viewpoints so when you take a position you can better argue for yourself

Summary: We talked about how to do research for our project.

Reflection: Doing a little bit of research on our topics was illuminating to what to expect from the rest of the project.
